Siblings Deborah Paewai and Shaun Komene are the owners and operators of Kia Ora Kids.

They saw a need to help whānau who are missing the cultural aspects of Te Ao Māori while trying to raise their children here in Australia. To meet this need, they have curated a suite of services designed to integrate Te Ao Māori cultural practices into everyday learning. Explore them on our Services section.

Shaun and Deborah both live in Queensland, Australia. They have kids born and raised in both New Zealand and Australia, so they understand this need personally. Raised in Aotearoa, they relocated to Australia, like most Kiwis, to seek better opportunities for their families.
